Annandale is an established middle-class suburb in Townsville's western corridor, well regarded for its schools, parklands and convenient position between the CBD and the outer western suburbs. The suburb is home to Annandale State School, St Margaret Mary's College and several childcare centres, making it a natural choice for families with school-aged children. Residents enjoy easy access to the Riverway precinct, the Ross River walking tracks and the commercial facilities in nearby Kirwan.
