Durack is a well-established residential suburb in Brisbane's southwest, offering affordable family living with easy access to the Ipswich Motorway and Blunder Road corridor. The suburb is close to Inala Plaza, Forest Lake Shopping Centre and several local primary schools.
Housing in Durack consists largely of lowset brick and tile homes from the 1970s and 1980s on standard-sized blocks. There are also pockets of newer townhouse developments and some older timber cottages closer to the Inala boundary.
Durack's grid-style street layout provides good truck access, though some of the older streets have narrow verges and established trees that can limit clearance. Durack's proximity to the Ipswich Motorway makes moves heading west or south very efficient. We plan routes through the closest on-ramp to save you time and money.
Watch for narrow verges and street trees.
Some older Durack streets have large street trees close to the road. Mention your street name when booking so we can assess whether a smaller truck is needed.
Prepare for single-storey loading.
Most Durack homes are lowset, which makes for quick, straightforward loading. Keep paths clear from the front and back doors to the driveway for maximum efficiency.
Book ahead for end-of-month moves.
